Armed Forces Day - 27th of June


To celebrate Armed Forces Day, we are having an evening of live music from the fantastic Gee Whiz! So come down to the club for a night of dancing and good music.

Tickets are £10 each, see a member of staff for details.

Coffee Mornings


We run a coffee morning on the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month so please do come along for a cup of tea or coffee, biscuit and a chat.

Tribute Night - Motown - 23rd of May


You may have Heard It On The Grapevine and we can confirm that we are putting on an amazing Motown tribute night with one of the members of The Drifters!
So come join us for a bit of Dancing In The Hall to your favourite Motown songs.
Tickets are £7.50 for members and £10 for guests. Please see a member of staff for tickets.

Charity horse racing night - 22nd of May


Kelly is holding a fundraising race night for Mind the mental health charity.
As some of you may know, this is something that is close to her heart and a lot of other people that struggle on a daily basis. With the help and all support from you all, the money we raise will go to help this cause but also raise awareness that it’s ok to not be ok!!
So come along for a fun night of horse racing, place some bets and have a laugh while helping us raise money for this great cause.
Tickets £3 each and are available from the bar

St George's Day Celebrations - 23rd of April


This is going to be a brilliant night so get your glad rags on and join us for an evening of live music from "It Takes Two"
You can also have dinner of fish and chips or roast beef sandwiches.
Entry is completely free so come on down!!

The Serenade Singers - 20th of April


Come along and join us for a matinee concert by the wonderful Serenade Singers followed by afternoon tea.

If The Blues Don't Bother you, come along to Shake Your Tail Feather and have a Groove With Us to classic songs from the Blues Brothers film with an amazing tribute act.

Remembrance Sunday 2019


Thank you to everyone who attending the Rememberance Sunday event, it was great to see that so many of you came to honour our service men and women.

Doom Bar is Back!


You asked for it, so we got it.....DOOM BAR IS BACK!!!


After so many of you asked to have Doom Bar back into the bar, the committee decided to bring it back.


If anyone has any suggestions for drinks that we can try in the bar, please speak to a member of the bar staff who will pass on your request to the committee.

Poppy Awards


Congratulation to Helen Leader for receiving the Poppy award which was presented by Barbara Fielding U.S.C President, James Brokenshire our President, and Brian Bishop Vice President who were helping to give out the awards.

A New Union Jack


We were very honoured to have Barry Theobald-Hicks (former R.B.L Chairman) present a new union jack flag to Barbara Fielder (U.S.C President).

We are super, super excited and proud to annouce that our new hall was offically opened on the 25th August. The hall is now avalibale for hire, but be quick as its already proving very popular

We have a new President


We say a goodbye to our previous president Chris Budgen, who has been an amazing president for the last 2 years and has helped to raise over £13,000 for his favourite charity "Help For Heroes". It has been an absolute pleasure working with him through his presidency and wish him well. 

We now welcome our new president Barbara fielder, her charity for her presidency is the Cancer Research and we look forward to working with her for this. We wish her well and will keep you all posted on up coming events!!

Remembrance Sunday


This year had the biggest parade yet, which started from our club. Everyone turned out in their finest and it was a privilege to be part of such an important and wonderful event.


We were also very honoured to have had a New Union flag presented by Lord Lingfield of the USC.
